This film is a documentary of Nathan Guc, singer, poet and teacher. Nathan Guc spent his younger days writing poetry and drinking wine with Beat poets like Gregory Corso while living in the Chelsea Hotel. After a brief turn as a NY cab driver, Guc turned his energy toward a teaching career; first in a tough New York City school and later in an upscale Long Island suburb. Throughout his journey, Guc keeps his sanity by continuing to write poetry, record and perform music (His 2002 debut CD is titled "The Singer With No Name"), share his love of arts, culture and meditation with his students, and by enjoying life in Long Beach, NY with his wife DeLisa, whom Guc calls "the bravest woman in the world".
